One of the best parts about moving home to Ottawa is being so close to Gatineau Park.
This past weekend, the man and I decided to head out to the Luskville Falls Trail. We started at the base of the falls and climbed up to the Fire Tower. The signs said the hike was around 2.5km with substantial elevation. The trail was quite technical with lots of rock climbing.
I wore Mizuno Breath Thermo running tights, Wave Ascend trail shoes, the new Eclipse Spring Jacket and my Solomon Water Vest for hydration.
The trail wasn’t too busy for a Saturday morning and was just a bit muddy.
It was so nice to get out. It was the perfect day, the perfect hike and the perfect company.
We refuelled by sharing a banana and had one water bottle from my vest each.
Happy Hiking!
