Definition of an Alpha Female
An Alpha Female is a powerful and assertive woman. Her confidence is due to her being an intelligent and intellectual problem-solver. Being an Alpha Female is a State of Mind based on choosing ambition and being proud of it. She strives for a happy and healthy work/life harmony.
She is the brightest star in her constellation. When an Alpha Female stays true to their authentic selves and their missions they shine. An Alpha Female puts herself first because she deserves self-care and love. She knows that work/life harmony is found by staying true to your priorities and what makes you happy. She is never complacent about striving for better and nurtures relationships with all the people in her life.
Welcome To The Show Colleen O’Connell-Campbell!
Colleen O’Connell-Campbell, lead of O’Connell-Campbell Wealth Management at RBC Dominion Securities, was born and raised in the Ottawa Valley. She is a married mother of two young adults. Caring deeply about her community, she is actively involved in local causes highlighted by her involvement in mental health advocacy and fundraising.
Colleen embarked on her professional journey while still in University working the weekend shift, as a teller, beginning in 1994. Shortly after earning her B.Com. (Honours) from Carleton University in 1996, Colleen shifted into personal banking and then to a Financial Planning role. Within the following year, she began establishing her own clientele as Wealth Advisor.
Colleen specializes in building and strategizing financial plans that optimize how entrepreneurs, self-made millionaires, & wealthy families spend save and share their wealth. She publishes a weekly blog and speaks regularly as an expert in areas relating to wealth management and entrepreneurship.
Colleen runs two events. The first is a free, intimate roundtable that she runs once every 2 months, virtually. It’s called “Elevated Conversations” Fun fact, it began as an “in real life” series of dinner parties where a select circle of entrepreneurs could connect and discuss topics of financial, technological, and other visionary possibilities. Then Covid-19 happened, and “Elevated Conversations the Dinner Party” became “Elevated Conversations the Virtual Roundtable”.
