About

Hi, my name is Robyn (Baldwin) Pineault and if we haven’t met yet, HI!!!

I’m a Health & Lifestyle Blogger, Host of The Alpha Female Podcast, Author of Love Lost, Life Found, an Essential Oil Educator with dōTERRA and the founder of Autoimmune Thriving.

I describe myself as a Work/Life Harmony Strategist because…

I help Alpha Females (ambitious women) create a happy & healthy work/life harmony

What is an Alpha Female?

An Alpha Female is a powerful and assertive woman. Her confidence is due to being an intelligent and intellectual problem-solver. Being an Alpha Female is a State of Mind based on choosing ambition and being proud of it. She strives for a happy and healthy work/life harmony.

She is the brightest star in her constellation.  When an Alpha Female stays true to their authentic selves and their missions they shine.  An Alpha Female puts herself first because she deserves self-care and love. She knows that work/life harmony is found by staying true to your priorities and what makes you happy. She is never complacent about striving for better and nurtures relationships with all the people in her life.

What is work/life harmony?

Work/life harmony is about picking your priorities, aligning your goals with your Core Desired Feelings and then ensuring you’re taking care of yourself on a daily basis. It involves doing daily things that make you happy and that keep you healthy.

You, yes you, are an Alpha Female and I’m giving you permission to step into your confidence and power.

When you learn to pick your priorities in the most aligned way to your values you develop this ability to lifestyle design your work and your life in a way that serves you beautifully.

My belief is that we are all empowered to create the most amazing health and vitality in our bodies is strong. I believe that we have the ability to heal ourselves when faced with health challenges.

Even if you feel overwhelmed with all the goals and things you’d like to achieve in one day. I’m really good at research, learning and then curating information. I’ve been able to maximize my energy, my health and create a beautiful life that I love. AND I love being able to empower others to do the same.

I value ambition.

You have big dreams and I love being able to support you in tackling them. Ambition doesn’t mean hustling hard or running yourself into the ground. Ambition simply means you want to play big in this world.

I value time.

Learning how to prioritize like a boss is key. Goal setting and creating to-do lists with ease and less stress is key. I have eradicated busy from my vocabulary. My days are filled with activities and appointments that I’m aligned to.

I value health.

Did you know that we all have the ability to thrive? My mission is to teach others how to become a passionate proactive healthcare advocate for themselves.

I value connection.

We can put so much on our plate that we sometimes forget to stop and genuinely connect with other people. I’m passionate about creating open, honest and vulnerable conversations with other Alpha Females.

A little bit more about Robyn (Baldwin) Pineault

I started this blog back in 2009 when I became a fitness competitor and model. I wanted to land a cover of a magazine and believed I had to create a personal brand to get there.

At the time, I thought I was super healthy. I was working out twice a day, eating “clean” and working full-time in Toronto. I subscribed to the notion of work/life balance at the time and I managed to fit everything in but in reality, I was running myself into the ground.

Life isn’t how it always appears online

My life appeared to be picture perfect. However, behind the scenes, I was in a toxic relationship, I was engaged to be married in 2012, called off the wedding one month before the big day and left the relationship. A few years later in 2014, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

I didn’t know how to love myself and how to truly take care of myself back then.

I embarked on a fitness, health and life journey that was so much bigger than just getting on the cover of a magazine. The journey has led me to the person that I am today. I’m in love with my life. I’m discovering health and vitality in my self-care routine. I’m passionate about teaching others about proactive healthcare. And in a beautiful relationship with a man who got me to move back to Ottawa in 2016, we got married in August of 2018 and I gave birth to our twins in July of 2020!

Here’s how I can help. I wrote a book about losing love but finding a life I absolutely adore and the steps I took to heal my heart.

I had lost the person I used to be. I was no longer doing the things that brought me joy. After calling off the wedding in 2012, I started my own happiness project and discovered that I love living a life of adventure, pushing my comfort zones and filling my days with things and experiences that bring me joy.

After my MS diagnosis, I realized I could take care of myself differently. I could eat in a way that serves me really well, decreases inflammation in my body, supplement for macro & micro-nutrients that I’m lacking, get quality and quantity of sleep, learn to de-stress from my “busy” schedule and reduce the toxic load on my body. This led me to the power of essential oils and why I now spend the majority of my time building a beautiful side hustle with dōTERRA because their goals are so aligned with mine.

Here are some Random Facts about Robyn (Baldwin) Pineault (wow I just spoke in the third person for SEO reasons) to make you smile

I have two bellybuttons (or rather a small scar from an operation at 18 months old that left me with this claim to fame)

I was a former CFL Cheerleader (for 2 teams – Hamilton Ti-Cats 2004 & Toronto Argonauts 2006). I’m in the below picture in the back row, far right as an Argo cheerleader at the Hamilton Labour Day Classic – best of both worlds!

I met my now, husband, Mike after visiting the OCR gym he helped open in Ottawa in 2015. I was living in Toronto at the time and was home for the Thanksgiving long weekend and thought I should try it out. We started dating a few months later, and after 3 months of driving back and forth from Toronto to Ottawa, I announced that I was moving back to Ottawa. I left an amazing job, sold my condo, and went all in building a life with Mike. I’m one of those people who move fast when I know what I want 🙂 We got engaged in Sept of 2017, got married in August of 2018, and threw a pretty nice party and I gave birth to our twins in July 2020.

  1. Hi Robyn,

I stumbled upon a pic of you wearing a cooling vest on the Techniche page …
I just wanted to tell you, I think what you’re doing despite MS is awesome

  2. Hi Robyn,

I’m so glad I found you on the MS website. I just received my cooling vest from Techniche. It’s working awesome! I was ready to give up on training due to overheating but, the vest keeps me cool even after two hours of indoor cycling. Thank you so much for the contact information to Techniche and for sharing your MS journey with us. PS. Love your periscope Morning Intentions (even if I am a replay viewer).
